Well the older 7.3L had a glowplug relay that looks like a starter relay. Then in the later years they switched to what's called a GPCM or glow plug control module and they have been using them ever sense. It is located on all the 6.0L on the right valve cover. It has two big connectors ones green and other is black. Real easy to replace held on by three 10mm nuts. Hope this helps good luck.

The 2006 model, 60 hp Mercury outboard 2 stroke requires a NGK BPZ8H-N-10. The 4 stroke model requires an NGK DCPR7E.
If a bulb has 50 Hz frequency and it's supply is 60 Hz frequency, it will still glow, despite the allowance of 10 HZ frequency.
