A better answer might be provided if you specify the engine. I would expect it to be located in the throttle body, attached by two torx head screws and having a three or four wire connector and being of color black.

The plunger end will not visible until the part is removed. If you remove the part, thoroughly clean the bore using carburetor or throttle body cleaner and a rag before reinstallation.
