the indicator relay is located directly under the steering coluom which has a red plug connected to it and slide the complete relay toward the seat and it will slide out, then you have to pry the raised section so you can unplug the relay.

There are 5 screws holding the steering column cover together, remove them (all underneath the column) then under the indicator you will see the relay switch (black box thingy) Why do I know? I have a fiesta mk4 and the relay has gone, resulting in no indicators at all.. not even on the dashboard.
