You can locate the O2 Censor(s) yes there is 2 of them one on the bank one catalyst converter under the vehicle just before the converter itself and the second one is on the bank two catalyst converter. They're located in the pipes on the top part of the pipes.
Bank 1 is on the passenger side. Bank 2 is on the drivers side. The O2 sensors are screwed into the exhaust system. Follow the exhaust manifold rearward and you will find the O2 sensors.
bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine sensor 2 is after the exhaust has passed through the catalytic converter ( downstream )
Trouble code P0155 means: O2 Heater Circuit (Bank 2, Sensor 1)
passenger side rear sensor --------------------------------------- actually Bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine
Where is bank 1 on a 2002 chevy astro van
The Sensor that is located after cat. converter on side of engine with evenly numbered cylinders.
Bank 2 would be the bank of cylinders on the drivers side of the engine containing cylinders 5, 6, 7, and 8. Bank 2 O2 sensor would be threaded into the bank 2 exhaust system directly leading from bank 2 cylinder head.
Bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine Sensor 2 is after the exhaust has passed through the catalytic converter ( downstream )
I have a 99 f150 w/ the v6. You actually have 4 o2 sensors. 2 upstream of the cats and 2 down stream of the cats
bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine , and sensor 1 is near the engine before the exhaust passes through the catalytic converter , sensor 2 is after the catalytic converter
