In a 1995 Geo Tracker, the oil dipstick is located on the engine, typically on the driver's side. It is a thin metal rod with a loop or handle at the top, making it easy to pull out for checking the oil level. To access it, you may need to remove any covers or obstructions, but it should be relatively straightforward to find.
it should be 4 to 5 quarts

the dipstick is on the passenger side of the engine next to the carb. yellow stic with loop at the handle.
Near the back of the engine in the middle there is a dipsick. Take out the dipstick and put a funnel in there and fill it up with about 4-5 quarts of oil if your changing the fluid. Use dexronIII fluid.
I have a 2001 tracker with a 2.0 & my dipstick is located on the right hand side of the valve cover about 1/2 way back. the handle sticks up.
