I assume you want to change the oil in your truck. To do that, what you need to do is disregard all that anyone has told you up until now. The easy way to do it is to drop the tailgate and locate the drain plug located right next to the tailgate latch on the drivers side.

On the lower part of the oil pan. If you cannot find it then I am afraid you have no business changing your own oil.
I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 5.3L V8...and I just changed my oil and found the drain plug on the opposite side of where the Oil Filter is. The plug is a 13MM.

The 2008 Cadillac Escalade oil pan drain plug can be found on the bottom of the oil pan. The oil pan drain plug will be near the front of the oil pan.
It seems these 2007-2013 GM lambar do not have drain plug.
The radiator plug for a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 is located on the bottom of the radiator on the right side. It is used to drain the coolant during flushes and fluid changes.
