the 3800 oil sending unit should be on the side of the block. It is screwed in right beside of the oil filter.

depends on the car i have 2001 Buick regal and its a bigger motor than a Chevy impala.
not positive on a 3100 grand am motor, but for fact a buick 3800 six cylinder can be fitted. i don't know if you need to change the trans or not, but with some engine mount modifications it should be an easy swap.
u have too remove the motor mount to change it
Alot of buick regals and lesabre's came with the 3800 engine

The ignition fuses for the 1993 1993 Buick Regal 3800 is located on the car's dashboard.
It is located underneath the plastic engine cover on the right side of the engine as you look at it from the front.
Sort of. It will require changing or building custom exhaust, rewiring to accept 3800 computer You will probably find it easier to use the 3800 transmission if its any good.
it is very probabably a 3800 efi v6. also known as a 3.8 liter fuel injected v6. awesome engine
Just ordered the motor mounts from the Buick dealer in Dalton, Ga, came in over night, the transmission mount near the fire wall costs a little over $300. Hope this helps.Vernon
