The oil temp sensor on a 1991 Chevy Corvette is located on the bottom of the engine, near the oil pan. It constantly monitors the temperature of the oil and relays information to the computer.
The pressure sender is on the rear of the block, on the top...mounted on an "L" tube near and kindoff under the distributor. The oil temp sensor is on the side of the block, I forget exactly where...sorry. There is also a water temp sensor and a detonation sensor on the sode of the block....
The oil temp sensor is located just above the oil filter..To change just unscrew the old sensor and screw in the new sensor , then reconnect the wires .. You should use a sealant on the threads that is sensor safe so you have a good ground..WW
Which temp? Oil, Water or Outside air?

Right above the oil filter , in the engine block.
my 1985 corvette oil temp rise to 300degree while driving for a short distance
There are several sensors on a 1995 Neon. The water temp sensor, crank shaft position sensor, and oil temp sensor are all mounted at various places on the engine block.
It's above the oil filter and below the ground bolt on the side of the block.
High oil pressure is good....
Your oil temperature gauge will connect to the oil pressure sensor. The water temperature gauge will hook up to the water temperature sensor. The oil pressure sensor will be on the left-hand side of the engine and the water temperature sensor will be on the front of the engine.
If your looking for the oil level sensor it would be located on the driver side on the oil pan.
hmmm, I've never had an oil temp sensor. I've only had an oil pressure unit, on the back of the block behind the distributor, and a block/coolant temp located on either head, one of my cars have even had one in each head. my 2cents :)
