It's there dude!! At the rear of the valve cover, in the center of the cover about 4-6 inches from the rear of the valve cover. It has a hose about 1/2 inch diameter running to it. It is kind of under the intake manifold a inch or so. Let us know what you find.
The EGr is located next to the fire wall, next to the valve cover on the drivers side of te engine. good luck
I have a 5.8L in my 1990 and it is located behind the intake on the passenger side. Right by the valve cover.

The EGR valve on a 1979 F150 with a 302 is located in the center of the engine. It is close to the firewall.
PCV Valve is located on the Right Valve Cover.
PCV is usually located on the valve cover sealed by a grommet. 1995 F150 2wheel drive with a 302 engine may require removal of the intake manifold. It is connected to an oil separator to keep excessive oil form entering the cylinder combustion chamber.

Blowback into a 91 F150 air filter could be caused by a bad PCV valve. Check the valve for it being stuck in the open position.
