Not enough clear information ! - Rear main seal on WHAT - ? ?
To change the rear main seal on a Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.9-liter engine, first, disconnect the battery and remove the transmission by unbolting it from the engine. After that, drain the engine oil and remove the oil pan to access the rear main seal. Carefully pry out the old seal, clean the sealing surface, and install the new seal using a seal installer or a similar tool to ensure it sits evenly. Finally, reassemble the oil pan and transmission, refill with oil, and reconnect the battery.
