Where is the switch located for the back up lights on a 2000 cadillac daville
On my 1993, 1 is Brown/with a light green tracer, the other is black. If the bulbs are good & the sockets look O.K. The Back up lights then go to the transmission. Right side reverse switch or some say neutral safety switch.
There is no switch used to activate the back up lights on a 2000 Chevy Silverado. The light should turn on automatically when you put the car in reverse. If it does not, the bulb may be out, or the fuse has gone bad. Another possiblity is an issue with the wiring to the light. Replacing the bulb is the cheapest troubleshooting option.
On a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse, the reverse light switch is typically located on the transmission. It can usually be found on the side of the transmission housing, near the linkage or near the rear of the transmission. To access it, you may need to lift the vehicle and remove any undercarriage components that obstruct your view. Always refer to a repair manual for specific details related to your model.
