On the starter solinoid
There should be two on the large terminal and one on the small terminal I believe the small terminal is labeled S
I am unable to remove the starter from under the vehicle no room for it to slip out What can I do !
Under vehicle, passenger side rear of engine.
If you can get to the starter, you hook up one side of the switch to the terminal that goes to the battery and the other side of the switch to the small terminal marked with and "S". "S" is for starter. The other small terminal you leave alone. Applying power to this terminal will damage the starter.
1. Disconnect negative battery cable. 2. raise the vehicle and support it securely with jackstands! 3. clearly label then disconnect the three wires from the starter motor/solenoid. (Looking at the end of the starter/solenoid - one at twelve o'clock is battery terminal, at three o'clock is switch terminal (s), and at six o'clock would be motor terminal (m). 4. Remove the mounting bolts and drop the starter. 5. If you didn't buy a solenoid with your starter, you may have to mount the old one to your starter (instructions are obvious). 6. Installation of new starter is opposite of removal (as they say in the movies!) Good luck and Blessings!
The purple wire would attach to the terminal marked "S". this terminal would be the one closer to the engine block. The yellow wire would attach to the terminal marked "R". This terminal would be the one further from the block.

Remove the terminal nut and separate the battery starter cable from the starter motor.5. Disconnect the solenoid (S) terminal connector, if equipped with a starter mounted solenoid.Ø To disconnect the hard-shell connector from the solenoid (S) terminal, grasp the plastic shell and pull off; do not pull on the wire. Pull straight off to prevent damage to the connector and (S) terminal.6. Remove the starter motor retaining bolts.7. Remove the starter motor from the vehicle. To Install:8. Place the starter motor in position and install the starter motor retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts to 15-20 ft. lbs. (20-27 Nm).9. Install the battery starter cable and a terminal nut to the starter motor. Tighten the terminal nuts to 79 inch lbs. (9 Nm).10. Connect the solenoid (S) terminal connector, if equipped with a starter mounted solenoid.11. Install the starter solenoid safety cap. If equipped.12. Lower the vehicle.13.
