If they are Automatics it will not shift properly. It would bolt up if they are the same engine.
On the valve body, inside the transmission.
It may fit, but the control systems are different and it will not shift.
if it is automatic then this would be caused by shift down is not working in transmission
TCM, is the Transmission Control Module. It controls automatic transmission shift points, etc.
Shift solenoids are located inside the automatic transmission, accessable via a side cover plate.
If it will not go into gear you have probably missinstalled one of the filters.
On the valve body. Its called 3/4 shift solenoid some times.
Normally this is located inside the valve body of the transmission, the valve body is located inside the case & pan.
The manual shift transmission does not have a filter.
