It's attached to the starter itself. If I remember correctly, that's a front wheel drive car, so the engine will be in a transverse layout (the cylinders go side-to-side, rather than front to back). The starter will be mounted to the bell housing, which should be on the left side of the car (driver side), at the end of the engine block.
