The stereo fuse for a 2005 Dodge Magnum is located in the fuse box under the dashboard on the driver's side. To access it, open the driver's side door and remove the cover panel beneath the steering column. The fuse box cover will have a diagram indicating which fuse corresponds to the stereo. Typically, it is labeled as "Radio" or "Audio."
look in your owners manual for the position of the radio fuse in the fusebox.
Amplifiers are on the speakers in the door. Otherwise its just in the am/fm/stereo unit
I believe if I remember right a AM radio was standard and if you wanted AM-FM it was an option as was a 8 track player.

You have to remove the vent & bezel assembly from below the radio first, then the entire dash bezel from around the instrument cluster & radio.
Check to see if the Neon stereo lights come on. If the radio lights up then there could be an internal problem or a problem with an external amplifier.
