if its a 3.1 v6 it is under the trottle body behind the exhaust manifold
if it is a 2.3 single over head quad 4 4 cyl. it is at the end of the bottom radiator hose on the under side of the engine and the exhaust manifold needs to be removed first

Answerif you have the four cylinder the thermostat should be at the water pump in the back of the eninge. look through the exast manifold at the back the 3rd hole or simply follow the radiator hose to the back of the eninge it should connect directly to the water pump.
