I have a 2001 Intrepid and I just had it replaced, but to no avail I still don't have any heat. Anyway it should be located right above the alternator. You won't be able to see it under the hood, so you are gonna have to get a little dirty and crawl underneath the vehicle. For a 2000 with a 3.2L Engine. It is right beside the Oil Filter. I can tell you from experience, that is worth taking off the Oil Filter and replacing it with a new one. Just be sure that the water is out first. My recomendation is to take the screws outof the thermostat housing first and let any excess water run out. Once this is done, then remove the Oil Filter. This will help ensure that no water gets in the Oil Pan, or crankcase.
The thermostat on a 2.7L Dodge Intrepid is under the housing where the lower radiator hose attaches to the engine.
Drivers side of engine just follow the bottom radiator hose to the block, that is where they put it unfortunately
I have a 2000 with 3.2L. It is located underneath on the right side looking from front right beside the Oil Filter. It's a real bugger.
Under the housing where the lower radiator hose hooks to the engine.
It is in front of the radiator.
The guys at any NAPA or Pep Boys will come out to the parking lot, open the hood and walk you through it.
No such part on a Dodge vehicle.
It is under the housing that the lower radiator hose hooks to on the engine.
The starter on a 2000 Dodge Intrepid 3.2 L is located on the driver's side of the motor. It is way down low next the fly wheel area.
It doesn't have one.
