Then you must open the glove compartment and find a grouping of taped wires behind the compartment. with-in this grouping of wire, look carefully; there is a small portion that can remove the tape then you will see a two wire (I think brown and white) with a connector. Disconnect, set the timing and then reconnect. What I think this does is, advances the timing to computer set. IT'S A SINGLE WIRE THAT IS LT BROWN W/A WHITE TRACE=====I don't believe there is a timing connector to put the vehicle into bypass mode on this year,on the older models yes,but this one I believe is pre-set and the timing can only be set by using a link,like a programmer,but you would be better off asking a garage to be sure
