under the rear passenger seats
The jack and tire iron in the Jeep Liberty is located under the right rear seat. There is a large knob, easily visible, when you look in that area. Turn it counterclockwise to release the jack and tire iron. On my car the knob is very hard to turn. It think this answer would apply to all Jeep Liberty's. To change a flat tire on a 2004 Jeep Liberty, you would typically use a scissor jack, which is the standard jack provided with the vehicle. This type of jack is designed to lift the vehicle by using a cranking mechanism. It's important to ensure the vehicle is on a stable, flat surface and to follow safety precautions when using the jack. Additionally, the Jeep may also have a full-size spare or a temporary spare, depending on the model and options.
In a 2007 Jeep Liberty, the flat tire jack is located in the rear cargo area. Specifically, it can be found under the floor mat or the removable cover in the trunk compartment. You may need to lift the mat or cover to access the jack and the spare tire tools.

There were 2 different wheel sizes installed on the 2004 Jeep Liberty. If you have 16 Inch wheels then the correct size tire for your vehicle is a 235/70-16. If on the other hand your Jeep is equipped with 17 inch wheels then you need 235/65-17 tires installed. Stick with the OEM size.
You can purchase a replacement Jeep Liberty tire cover online from stores such as JCWhitney. Alternatively, you can purchase these covers from retailers such as Amazon.
