It is bolted to the transmission valve body. You will have to remove the transmission oil pan to get to it. It is about 6 inches long 2 to 3 inches wide and real thin. black in color.
A 1994 does not have a control module on the transfer case. But it does have a 4x4 Actuator on the front differential.

find the wiper fluid fill and fuse panel, you will see the power control module, and transmission control module, bolted together, normally gray in color, all wires lead to the boxes, so it cant be hard to find
