I have told that reason my 94 cadilac sedan deville when it rans for while it wont run smooth is the transmission pump and how hard is this problem to fixs.
The factory transmission that belongs in that 94 model did not use are have a modulator valve. But to answer your question the line goes to any intake vacuum source. That year truck should have the 4L60E transmission in it.
No. No.
it is located on transmission right hand side just above trans pan and covered by heat shield for exhaust.
The tube that holds the transmission dip stick is used for adding transmission fluid. You can buy a special funnel for transmission fluid from an auto parts store if you don't think you can hit the hole freehand.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I have read that if the vacuum modulator on your automatic transmission is bad than fluid out of the automatic transmission can be sucked into the engine
91-93 have the same wiring harness. There is a 2.73 gear ratio (FP3) & 2.97 gear ratio (F79) in that year, so be careful. 94-95 are interchangeable.
Yes
Use Dexron III in your 94 transaxel. Check level while hot. Drive about 5 miles minimum. Remember too much fluid can damage it also.
