To recharge your 2001 PT Cruiser's AC pop open the hood and look for the aluminum piping to the AC system. There will be 2 connections and you need only use the low side connection. The connections will be covered by dust covers, remove the dust cover from the low side connection only and fit the recharging kits hose to the connection. Set the kit down in an area where it will not move once you turn the car on. Start the car and let the AC run on the highest setting. Once you have done this go to the recharging kit and turn the knob to allow the refrigerant to flow.
