how about instead of cutting a hole you rent rack time and drop the gas tank down instead it's easier and alot safer then sparking an explosion by cutting a hole in it DON'T cut a hole in your car...it won't come out...take the exaust off, unbolt the differential, and REMOVE the tank...believe me, it's the best way...
Pop the trunk, pull back the trunk liner, remove the 5 plastic screws/wingnuts, and separate light assembly from the car, remove the bulbs and replace.

open trunk and remove interior trim. remove five plastic nuts then pull out light assembly. depress the clip and twist the bulb holder counterclockwise and pull out. remove bulb and replace,and reinstall.
