It could be from many areas such as the water pump, the radiator, radiator hoses, heater hoses, heater core, freeze plugs, intake manifold gaskets, etc. Take a good flash light and try to locate the source of the coolant leak. If you have no luck that way take it to your local garage and they can pressure test the coolant system to force the leak.
pressurize the system. that'll make the leak leak faster and you should be able to find it easier.
Have it pressure tested, the intake gaskets have probably failed.
Leak in heater core
Losing coolant in a vehicle is not a good thing. It is best to check all seals and all bends in tubing.
Need to check all 4 corners of the intake manifold with your fingers and see if they get wet. Also check the heater hose's were they go into the intake and see if the fittings are leaking coolant. It is real common for the intakes to leak on that engine.
If you do not visibly see a coolant leak, have the cooling system pressure tested. If the leak is not obvious it could be internal.
anti-freeze (coolant) leek
you have to find where the leak is first.
Need to check the 4 corners on the intake manifold. It is common for the intake to leak engine coolant.
Have the coolant system pressure tested, the pressure test will increase the coolant leak.
Mine is in the timing chain cover gasket. You can find your leak by pressure testing your coolant system.
Low coolant level, internal or external coolant leak or faulty thermostat.
