It is in the drivers side kick panel.
How you fix them would depend entirely on what's wrong with them. You'd have to diagnose the problem first, bulbs burned out, blown fuse, bad switch, broken wires, etc.
Check tire pressures and rebalance tires first.
It was first invented by Joseph Conrad Barrette who worked for GE in the 1950's. Unfortunately, he did not patent his idea and it was stolen by GE.

To check for power from the inertia switch to the fuel pump on a 2001 Ford F-150, first locate the inertia switch, which is typically found in the passenger compartment, near the driver's side kick panel. With the ignition turned on, use a multimeter to test for voltage at the output terminal of the inertia switch. If there is no power, the switch may have tripped or could be faulty. If there is power, further check the wiring and connections leading to the fuel pump for any issues.
Check the fuse box first then the lighter.
turn it on again Well first of all don't panic. Then scream and get the hell out of the car.
There is actually two catalytic converters. They are the first two components in the exhaust system and lie directly under the engine.
check the circuit too much resistance could have made the first pump bad, check fuse, relay , inertia switch and or bleed
This is just a guess. Probably in trunk over wheel well and behind the cover they put in trunk. Try drivers side first. Like I said, just quessing from another car. Hope you get lucky!! An inertia switch is a ford item.
Newton's first law is sometimes called the law of inertia.
