I'm trying to replace the headlight assembly for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Lerado. What bolts or screws do I remove
The fog lamps are activated on a 2000 Grand Cherokee via the headlight switch. Pull the END of the lever OUT.
Ford dealers have these.
No, the only thing it could possibly do is blow the bulb.
Not possible. You have to remove the whole light assembly.
To replace the headlight assembly on a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, first, remove the screws and clips securing the assembly to the vehicle. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the headlight and carefully pull the assembly out. Install the new assembly by connecting the electrical connector and securing it with the screws and clips. Finally, test the headlights to ensure they're functioning properly.
yes they will fit. 99-04 had different options but they should all interchange.
The average retainer for a construction lawyer in Maryland is $2000-$2500
Lift the hood. Pull out the L shaped pins that hold the headlight housing in place. There are two pins on each lite. This allows the entire headlight housing to easily come out. Once the headlight is removed you can reach the parking lite bulb retainers. Squeeze the tab on the side of the retainer and rotate it.
The axle retainer nut is likely to be the same as on the 1998: 30mm
First, roll back the rubber weather guard around the bulb port on the back of the headlight casing. Second, release the retainer "wire" by pushing down then back (toward the engine) on the side of the retainer closest to the radiator. Third, pull the bulb, weather guard, and wiring back and out of the casing. Fourth, hold the plug on the wiring and pull the bulb out. Replace with new bulb being careful not to get any grease, dirt, or "skin oil" on the glass of the bulb. A paper towel or nitrile gloves will help. Reverse steps to install. Check operation before driving.
Remove the headlight directly above the fog light, you can reach down easily to access the lamp
