The oil pressure switch is located at the back of the engine next to the distributor. Looking at it from the front of truck it will be right of distributor. Normally it can be changed without removing the distributor.
There is no inertia switch on the Chevy truck it runs from the ecm , oil pressure switch and relay.
The oil pressure on 91 Silverado 350 is at the rear of the engine on the driver's side, This unit is usually found above the oil filter.Ê
Right behind the distributor and it is tough to get to.
The most common problem on these trucks will be a bad pressure switch along with a bad pressure switch pigtail.........
Remove the ignition switch retaining ring. Pull the ignition switch out. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the ignition switch. Reverse the process to install the new ignition switch.
It is screewed into the top of the engine block right behind the distributor.
Lick it.
Remove the wiring harness from the 2003 Jeep Liberty pressure switch. Remove the power steering pressure switch retaining screws. Reverse the process to install the new power steering pressure switch.
Trouble code P0522 means:Engine oil pressure/switch low voltage
Screewed into the top of the engine block just behind the distributor
Pressure switch on a 2005 Chrysler 300 C can be changed by removing the wires from the switch. Remove the retaining nut. Reverse the process to install the new switch.
