Mine is on the right side of the distributor under all the wiring.
2.8L: It is where the fuel line goes into the carb. 2.9L: It is on the driver's side frame rail.
If it is the 4.3 carb, the fuel filter is about 2 inches long and located at the end of the fuel line where it goes into the carb. Easy to change, just unscrew the fuel line where it goes into carb and you will see a filter with an orange pleated center.
the fuel filter should be in the carb, if it is the original carb,,, it is in the front of the carb with a line going into it,,,you will need a 16mm line wrench and a crescent to take the line off,,once you pull off the line u will see the fuel filter inside it should be about a 1x3 circulur filter,,hope this helps
It has an inline fuel filter connected to the carb via hose conection.
if you remove the air cleaner its where the fuel line goes into the carb it had to diffrent tyopes that year one had a screw in tpe and the other was in the carb where the fuel inlet is at it's a metal sreen
In the inlet fuel line in the carb. Remove fuel line and then the larger fitting behind, filter should be right there
From the factory, the fuel filter would be in the Q-jet carb. You have to disconnect the fuel line at the carb and remove that housing on the carb. Filter is inside.
use a bit of carb cleaner, also check sparkplug and air filter condition
if a v8 most likely on front of carb. look for the fuel line from pump
Go to Autozone's web site and look in their part locater.
