This is a difficult question to answer because you don't clarify what the criterias are. But if you are looking for gas milage your best bet is an 84-86 Mustang SVO. If you are looking for fun, horsepower and all around aftermarket a V8 mustang is hard to beat if you are talking in the 80s to early 90s the LX and GT mustangs were not very different except the GT had a heavy body package making it a bit slower than the LX. Nowadays the GT is the only one to possess the V8 (Except for the GT500, or the cobras from the previous body styles). Dollar for dollar I would bet on the V8.
2barell or 4 barell carb
The first Mustang protoype in the early 60's was a 2 seater with a V4.
1-3-4-2
The carburetor on a 1998 Ford Escort with a V4 engine is located next to the valve cover. It is on top of the engine.
V4 or V5. I really like V4 better than V6. I prefer V4. V4 has the most to do besides V5.
Borla S- Type Muffler is the best type of borla exhaust for a v4.
No , the Ford 4.6 , V8 engine is an over head cam design
Phillip Hubert Smith has written: 'Ford V4 supplement'
This is no V4. It is an Inline 4 or a V6. Use 87 Octane Regular fuel any major brand.
There is no such thing as a BMW V4.
you asked about the v4 engine but the contour had a v6 or an inline 4 but no v4 ,,,,plugs on these cars are under the valve cover lid and should take only a few bolts holding it on. but if you've never done this before leave it to a pro since they can be tricky as the spark plug can pull its threads out ...
There is no such thing as a V4 2 cylinder engine, because the 'V4' indicates 4 cylinders in a V shape ( as apposed to 4 cylinders working up and down the way) 2 cylinder V shaped engines are mostly found on motorbikes or citreon 2 CV's
