The firing order for a 1997 Olds Aurora is 1-2-7-3-4-5-6-8. The cylinders by the firewall are 1-3-5-7 and the cylinders in the front are 2-4-6-8. The coil packs are numbered in the order left to right: 6-7-4-1-8-3-2-5
Grab an adjustible wrench and turn it (Left). It should come right off.

Don't know for sure for a 2007, but for a 2002 expedition it is the top left fuse (25 amp) in the fuse compartment to the left and under the steering wheel.
Facing the engine from the passenger fender, cylinders 1, 3 and 5 are to your left. Then cylinders 2, 4 and 6 are on your right. The firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6.
3.1L is front cylinders are 2-4-6, back cylinders are 1-3-5. coil pack left to right is 5-2-3-6-4-1.
If you are facing the front of the car, looking back in towards the passenger compartment, spark 1 is the bottom left cylinder. Spark 2 is the bottom right cylinder. Spark 3 and 5 are in the middle and upper positions on the left side, and spark 4 and 6 are the middle and upper right cylinders.
