Something most people didn't seem to notice when they introduced unleaded gasoline was the drop in octane that occurred Premium went from between 95 and 98 octane down to 92, and regular dropped from around 91 or 90 down 87 or 88.
For any high performance vehicle, premium gas should be used. For any vehicle which you wish to run well, premium gas should be used. Avoid using octane booster without expert instruction, because a supercharged engine, just like any other, may be blown up with too high of an octane fuel.
