Shifter cable- Standard Transmission has two cables from the shift stick to the transmission, which is located beneath the airfliter (Pull firmly straight up to remove filter housing) You will see a worn (or missing) rubber bushing at the end of the cable. this is a common problem, however Chrysler does not sell the bushing separate, you have to buy the entire cable which is expensive. I used a piece of rubber from a bungie cord (black rubber with a metal S hook at each end) I removed the hook and then cut off the rounded end portion with the hole in it. It fit as a bushing in the cable, and has been working fine for 70,000 miles.
