Henry Ford, founder of Ford Motor Company, is credited with saying "Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black." This quote refers to the limited color options available for the Model T car, which was only produced in black for a period of time due to the efficiency of the black paint drying process.
The 1912 Ford Model T was painted midnight blue with black fenders.
