you may have a short check to see if you can find any bare wires in the system hope this helps The '03 model had a recall on the socket assembly, due to bad contact. The blinker would go double time like it was a burnt bulb but OHMing would vrify that the lamp was good. We took ours to the Dealer for the "FIX" and after two days without the car it came back worse. I found that by gently bowing out the contact wires on the lamp with my pocket knife I no longer had any problems. Also remember to never let the lamp come in contact with your skin as the natural oil on yer grubby little paws will shorten the lamps life.
From inside the trunk pull back the carpet and get access to the tailight assembly. Remove the fasteners on the tailights then unscrew the bulbs and replace.
Defective Flasher Relay. Replace it.
No...the 99 has 2 bulbs and the 01 has 1 bulb
Most blinker circuits do not flash if one bulb is burned out. If the bulbs are all OK then the flasher is probably bad.
Check the fuse for the tail lights. Also check the bulbs.
Turn signals are mounted on a Chevy Cavalier just like a regular head lamp is. The difference between the units is the bulbs are smaller. Open the hood and find the lamp brackets. Unplug the old brackets and connect the new bulbs.
Bulbs burned out or fuse and or relay popped
Remove the light assy and turn the bulbs counterclockwise.
possibly a short in the wire. Take out the tail assembly and check the bulbs. good luck
Check the ground, without a proper ground it will not light up
No it means you have your left blinker on. The right bulbs have nothing to do with the left blinker. An incandescent bulb either works or it doesn't. There is no dying out.
It has been my experience that when the blinker comes on but the lights don't blink there is one or more bulbs burned out. If that is not the case check the flasher.
