Why does 1999 wrangler 4.0 miss changed plugswires and cap and rotor?

There are so many reasons for the miss. Some of them are:

clogged injector, bad timing chain, bad valve, fuel pressure regulator the list goes on. I would do what you did and if it does not work I would go pay the 65.00 for a computer test at my local auto repair.
