Perhap throw-out bearing need lubrication
A failing wheel bearing is a likely cause.
It all depends on how and where you drive. Stop and go traffic or highway. Hard stops or easy stops. Almost all cars today have a warning device that will emit a loud squeal when the pads need replacing. If you hear any squeal when stopping, they need replacing immediately. You can of course inspect the pads for wear at any time.It all depends on how and where you drive. Stop and go traffic or highway. Hard stops or easy stops. I just went through the same thing with my 2004 Wrangler . I had to replace the rear pinion bearings and races.
Maybe its a bad EGR valve
Why engine stalls on 1993 Chrysler Intrepid while driving and sometimes at stops?
sounds like the alternater squeling not the belt
If the squeeling is under the hood it is probably the AC belt. If the defroster is on the AC is on. Just tighten the belt. If the squeeling is under the hood it is probably the AC belt. If the defroster is on the AC is on. Just tighten the belt.
Check your timing belt!
The "squeal tabs" are built in on purpose, to let you know when the pads are worn down and need to be replaced. If the squealing stops and grinding begins, you've waited too long. Get your vehicle to a mechanic (or at least someone who knows what they're doing), in either case.
