The 1999 Saturn S-Series engine heats up the coolant, the thermostat valve opens and the coolant circulates between the radiator and the engine. Then the radiator fans turn on to cool it back down. The fans are also turned on when the air conditioner is turned on to aid in cooling the radiator and the air conditioner condensor.
Also, the Toyota Tacoma 4X4 SR5, without Keys, parked, no one in it?
I presume the engine is running when the car is parked if the temperature guage does not move to the normal position when the car is moving at road speed but goes up when the car is stopped and the engine idling, then more than likely the thermostat is bad and needs to be replaced. If you se that the temperature guage is in the normal position anafter the car has been running a while and the temperature guage then goes down when the car is moving at road speed, then this confirms that the thermosta is bad.
There is no need to pull over for an emergency vehicle using its lights and siren if you are already parked or idling on the side of the road.
Fuel, or spark. Most likely fuel. Now, is it the pump, or the filter.
bad fuel pump they are known for this problem
A Honda Ridgeline typically consumes about 0.2 to 0.5 gallons of fuel per hour while idling, depending on various factors such as engine condition and accessories in use. This can vary slightly based on the model year and specific engine configuration. Idling for extended periods can lead to unnecessary fuel consumption, so it's generally advisable to turn off the engine when parked for long durations.
No because they will only give you 25%, not even enough to buy a new hood! my car was parked and hit from behind and severly damaged the right quarter panel and more should i be worried about after effects from this backend damage
A tractor trailer should ideally idle for no more than 5 to 10 minutes, as prolonged idling can waste fuel and increase engine wear. Many modern engines are designed to warm up quickly, and excessive idling can also contribute to unnecessary emissions. It's best to turn off the engine when parked for extended periods and only restart when necessary. Additionally, some jurisdictions have regulations limiting idling time to reduce environmental impact.
As long as the parked vehicle is parked properly and not illegally parked in any manner, then the vehicle that rear-ended the parked car is at fault. Now if the parked car is sitting illegally (such as double parked or parked in a no parking zone, etc.) then the parked car is at fault or even both the parked car AND the car that hits it are BOTH at fault.
The person's who parked it there, (its parked illegally.)Not your fault.
Parked was created in 2011.
I don't know what happens when your Durango is parked, but if it overheats when idling it should be caused by an extremely low level of the coolant. When the level is very low, the temperature rise quickly, and fall when the vehicle speed increase, thanks to the air that cool down the radiator. You should check radiator hoses or some gasket of the cooling system, that could be damaged, then repair it and fill the system with coolant as specified in the car's owner's manual. Following this you should eliminate the problemStop leaks and cool off your DurangoI don't know what happens when your Durango is parked, but if it overheats when idling it should be caused by an extremely low level of the coolant.
