the guy that answered this MUST be a Democrat as he doesn't know what he is talking about! But I'll be nice... A 2002 Ford doesn't use Freon, it uses r134a refrigerant. Also, there are a lot of reasons besides low refrigerant that can cause it not to cool. First make sure when the AC is turned on that the AC clutch is kicking in and turning the compressor. If the compressor is running you should have a mechanic (or pick up some cheap gauges) and see what your pressures are. Let me know what you find out and I will help you.
