stick the key in the passenger door and turn it make sure all the doors are closed
the answer is in the owners manual
The coolant temperature sensor on a 2001 Jeep Cherokee is located in the intake manifold. It monitors the flow and temperature of coolant through the engine.
alarm always goes off until i put keys in ignition
I shut mine off by crossing the wire on the sensor; strip the protective palstic from the wires and twist them together. Probably a bad sensor that opens the loop to the alarm system.
i assume you mean your marker lights. it sounds like your alarm going off, you must have a aftermarket alarm
== == We found it located in behind the right side of dash board, in behind the glove box. For our 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo
Hi Can you please help? I have a 2002 Jeep Cherokee with the alarm siren & horns going off and will not start? any known concerns? what are the fuses? thanks Chris
Check battery if low could trigger alarm.
yes it should
no, the body style on the Cherokee changed in 1997
the factory alarm is set
Put the key in the drivers door lock and turn it to unlock - it will turn alarm off while sounding OR will turn alarm off as well as unlock door - just watch the red alarm light flashing it will go out.
