A rapidly blinking signal usually means that one of the signal lights is burnt out. The decrease in current from the burnt bulb decreases the time it takes for the simple on/off timer to fire. Check both front and rear signals. This can also be caused by a trailer with turn signals. If you have a trailer, make certain the signal connection contains the proper capacitance box.
The directional flasher for a 1992 Chevy Cavalier is under the dash. It is mounted on the drivers side, beside of the steering column.

The 1990 Chevy Lumina signal flasher unit can be found beneath the drivers side dashboard. The signal flasher unit will be above the brake pedal.
Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 1991 Chevy Corsica turn signal. Remove the turn signal retaining bolts. The entire turn signal will come out. Reverse the process to install the new turn signal.
