Why does my 2003 Sunfire left rear signal not work but the front blinks VERY fast?

Your left rear signal bulb is burnt out. Both signal bulbs work on a single circuit, so when one goes bad the other receives enough voltage for both, causing to front to blink at least twice as fast. Change the bulb, everything else will repair itself
