often times when the pads are wearing out they tend to behave like that. If you are car savvy take off the wheels and see how much life the pads have on them.

Most pads come with pins that point in the direction of the rotor so when the pad is getting very little life left on it the pin will scratch on the rotor letting you know that the pads are wearing out.
