The transmission has an internal problem....It means you need service...Get the codes checked and see what the fault code is then post it....
All of the drive lights (and most of the other dash lights) are attached to sensors related to correlated vehicle parts (ie the oil light for oil pressure, gas light for low fuel levels, etc.). When the drive lights start to blink that means one of 2 things, either your transmission is failing or the sensor attached to the transmission is failing. I hope for your case it is the latter. Suspect a bad four wheel drive module, or wheel actuator
No, you cannot legally drive a manual transmission vehicle in the USA with an automatic license. You need a manual transmission endorsement on your license to do so.
A transaxle is the transmission in a front wheel drive vehicle
Computer has detected a problem with the transmission.
When any vehicle won't go into drive it is a transmission problem.
Of course not. Without a working transmission you are going nowhere.
The transmission dipstick on a 1999 Corvette is on top of the transmission. It is located in the engine bay, near the front. The Transmission on the 1999 Corvette is located in the rear of the vehicle. The Transmission also contains the rear end drive assembly. It is not located on the rear of the engine block as in a traditional vehicle. There is a Drain plug on the bottom of the transmission gear box assembly, as well as a fill/check plug on the side to add and check fluid levels.
It's a good chance it's not your transmission at all. I would or have someone check your u-joints on the drive shaft of the vehicle. They could need replacement, its a lot less expensive than a transmission rebuild.
Yes , the transaxle is a transmission on a front wheel drive vehicle
A rear wheel drive vehicle transmission has everything in a straight line . A Transverse mounted transmission has the gears made after the torque convertor at a 90 degree angle. (L shaped)
Have the vehicle towed to a transmission shop to be flushed and serviced.
I had that in a vehicle i used to drive, and they had to replace the whole wiring system inside the transmission
