There is a problem with either the pressure in a tire, or a sensor itself has a problem. You will need to take your vehicle to a repair shop that can check the tire press system for codes.
Bad sensor on tire (replace battery??)
I dont know how to turn that sensor off; although, i do have a 2006 tundra and if your spare tire is low that light will come on as well so you might want to check that out.
hi how do i reset tire pressure sensor light on
Depending on the make and model, maybe. Some vehicles do have a tire pressure sensor in the spare to monitor its pressure.
Check your tyre pressure is correct then drive for about a few minutes after that the red stop light and sensor should go out.
To reset the tire pressure sensor fault on a 2010 Ford Fusion, first ensure that all tires are inflated to the recommended pressure. Then, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine. Press and hold the TPMS reset button, typically located beneath the steering column, until the tire pressure warning light blinks three times. Finally, release the button and start the vehicle; the light should turn off if the reset was successful.
there is a sensor on the factory valve stems that need to be put on or adjusted
Check the spare tire sensor.
The only way to reset the low tire pressure warning light is to remove or replace the low tire pressure sensor. When the sensor is not working properly the light will remain on.
A tire with low air pressure will do that.
If the low tire pressure light come on the dashboard while all of than are the same amount of air; which mean the sensor in the tire is warning you to add some air to the tire because they all low air tire pressure.
check the spare tire.....my dash sensor showed wrong pressure, but all tires were good. then someone mentioned the spare tire...that was the problem! Even the spare has a sensor Any tire could have improper pressure, or a bad sensor.
