engine will idle high at start up same as a gas engine will. contrary to what most say, the newer diesels have same application on them as a choke. once engine has warmed up it will idle normally
why cant i pick up fuel, it is all clean it will start when i spray starting fluid idel jets are wide open
Adam participated in American Idol 2008 Season and was runner up.
Question? Did your battery go out on you? try this, start up your motor tour on your a/c, lights, flahers and radio then bring your idel up to 1700rpm and hold it there for 2 min then let of pedle and turn off motor this will reset the idel compurter. Sometines you need to do this 2 or 3 times. But off you need to check your battery. Ken same prob 2001 Dakota
try the idel air control valve
idel- 1000- 1100rpm or how ever you like to hear it air/fuel- start with a turn and a half out bogs faten up /starts blowing black smoke and fowling plugs lean it out
First check fuel pressure with a gauge. There is a valve on fuel rail. If check engine light is on have codes read since engine is managed by many sensors. Start there.
When the start-up cost is high
"x=73, y=83" is the description of a point on a graph (in Cartesian space). The numbers tell you exactly where the point is, how to find it, and how to get there. -- Start from the "origin" ... the point in the center of the graph. -- Go straight to the right for 73 units. -- Turn and face up. -- Go straight up for 83 units. -- You're at the place with the coordinates (73, 83) .
if the yellow light on your dash is lit up you have a bad sensor most likely the air idel control
Have it checked for codes, the throttle position sensor has probably failed.
markets with high start-up costs are less likely to be perfectly competitive.
