It is either the sensor is bad, or there is not enough oil pressure. You could replace the sending sensor and see if that clears up the problem, otherwise you are looking at a more major problem dealing with your oil pump etc.
I DON'T HAVE AN ALCOHOL PROBLEM, WHY DOES EVERYONE KEEP SAYING THAT! STOP BEING JUDGEMENTAL, I CAN STOP WHENEVER I WANT TO!
Check the pressure control unit ( located on the fuel rail ). When this unit no longer gives a consistent pressure read it will "eat" electric fuel pumps.
Loose or corroded battery cables? Bad coil?
Somehow there is cylinder pressure or radiator pressure getting into the crankcase. There is a problem. Take it to a repair shop ASAP.
Oldsmobile was not the problem, it was GM that made oldmobiles but they stopped making them in 2004 and the reason is that Oldsmobiles did not bring in enough money for GM or (General Motors) to be happy so they stopped. but if you ask me i think any car that lasted 106 year is good enough and is a good car to keep selling. OLDSMOBILE IS A AWESOME CAR
You can try unhooking the battery for 5 min. You may also get it scanned find out what the problem is, get the codes cleared, problem fixed & should be o/k why does 1994 Oldsmobile silhouette keep dying
That means you are SOL.
Check the fuel filter and the fuel pump pressure. The problem sounds like the fuel pressure is too low to keep the engine running.
To keep a car running its best, a person has to keep the fluid levels maintained. The 2000 Oldsmobile Alero uses 12 quarts of transmission fluid.Ê
I am saying no to that question mostly because you have tons of blood in your body and as long as you keep combing every night that won't be a problem.
If the sensor has been changed, the wiring checked, then the problem is with the computer.
I had the same problem.. I just deleted all the other downloads I had in installous and it seemed to fix the problem.. give that a try
