If the sensor has been changed, the wiring checked, then the problem is with the computer.
Let me guess you have a service engine soon light on and the computer is saying it's your Oxygen sensors. Oxygen sensers are normally located on the exhaust pipe, within 12 inches of the exhaust manifold, you will probably have to get underneath the van to see them. I think it's just emissions stuff nothing real important
What model do you have? I am saying no to your question. In most vehicles the service engine light deals with the operation of the "engine", igniton system, exhaust, and fuel system. If there is a problem with the brakes you could see an ABS light (if equiped) or a BRAKE! light on. If the Service engine soon light is on in your vehicle the problem lies in one of those systems. Good Luck
It means you need to get your oil/filter changed.
HI it may be your oxygen sensors in your exhaust manifolds. I had the same type of hesitation and I really thought it was transmission related but I was wrong. Also there was a scan code in the computer saying the oxygen sensors were not functioning properly. Car runs great now 115,500 miles. 3.3L engine.
Your gas mileage will be greatly effected. You could damage the oxygen sensors as well as other sensors. edit: I don't know about damaging the oxygen sensors necessarily but the oxygen sensors do return information to the engine to change the fuel mixture of your car, resulting in poor fuel mileage. Also your car will create more toxic pollution. In an older car without an oxygen sensor this is not a problem. In fact, it makes them open up and breathe better and even roar a little bit (heh). But it is illegal and it does pollute the air.
Yes, the 2012 Fiat 500 does have a service indicator. The yellow engine warning light (! inside a triangle ) illuminates and when you restart your car, a message pops up generally saying to change your oil. Follow the link below to learn more about the service light.
could be a bad case of run-on as i had prob. was bad idle adj... check idle/injectors/sensors Sounds to me like he is saying that the engine runs fine after started not that it has a run-on problem.
Then the horse was the most power engine
The issues with sensors are that if you don't clean them often enough, they won't be as accurate and there 'sensing' will, well...get fuzzy. If you know what I'm saying. And if there are scratches on it, it can cause the same effects as if it would be dirty. Hope this helped!! --JjJ SiGnInG OuT:)
it might be outta of service days but still have minutes rolled over...
à votre service is a very polite way of saying - I am here to serve you, what can I do for you?
I have no clue what you want to know. What is tration? Are you saying Traction.
