Yes, the 2012 Fiat 500 does have a service indicator. The yellow engine warning light (! inside a triangle ) illuminates and when you restart your car, a message pops up generally saying to change your oil.

thats a service reminder. you need to get you car serviced. if you continure to drive approx 500 kms this indicator will automaticaly go away
This can only be done in a Fiat garage (or so I've heard). My Fiat Panda, in Kwik-Fit where it was serviced, they said they couldn't switch it off and needed to go to them.
