it will either leak out of the weep hole or any cracks if it has any or the bearing will be noisy if not locked up.
my truck leaked as well. I had to take it back several times. It was a bad bead in the front of the cab. they had to do a water test on the truck to find it.

sounds like ya have a heater core leak . time to take her apart
pressurize the system. that'll make the leak leak faster and you should be able to find it easier.
No there is not, but that don't mean you don't have a leak somewhere. That is a old truck.
Leak in heater core

A water leak from the radiator in to the passenger compartment is usually a sign of a leak in the heater core. If the water is not from the radiator then there may be a leak in a window or door seal, or a hole in the undercarriage that is allowing water from the road to soak the carpet..
It could be a freeze plug but it also is not uncommon for the intake manifold gasket to blow out and allow engine coolant to leak out.
