engine temp sensor is bad
In my 1999 Chevy Silverado you must press and lock emergency brake while engine is off. When starting engine lights will remain off until emergency brake is released. I never did like this limiting feature so others have said "pull the fuse" Not going there.
i have never had my truck shut off when i put it in drive, but i did run it out of gas once and it wouldn't start. The green box around the D wouldn't appear and it was because theres a safety feature on them where when the injectors don't pick up gas it blows a fuse your (EFM) which is easily replacible and will only cost about 99 cents... i hope this helps somebody one day
it does only when in drive with the tow/haul button off
where is knock sensor located on a 99 Silverado 1500 4.3
are you using the factory key? they have security chips in them.
It's your wiper modular
put 4.5 in then start motor and let run for a second. shut it off then check the amount then add more if needed.
100 mph then vuts off and refires at 99 mph
Turn key on, do not start. Push the gas pedal all the way to the floor 3 times being sure to let all the way off each time. Then turn key off and then start engine.
